Smoke Detectors Save Lives! Make sure you check the batteries twice a year, during time changes. Test each smoke detector once a month. Replace smoke detectors every 10 years. You need a smoke detector on each level of the structure. Hopefully you find these useful. Feel free to call Waco Community Vol. Fire Department for more information.
