Halloween in Waddington has begun, and the Library is participating! This Saturday, October 24th from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., come on down to the Waddington Library for a Storytime full of spooky and autumnal fun! There’ll be some fun stories, plenty of candy and snacks, a little haunted house craft that you can design and take with you, and a commemorative button to celebrate the season. Additionally, we'll have free pumpkins to carve or paint, which you can bring to the town hall afterwards before 5:00 P.M. on Saturday Night for the Lighted Pumpkin Contest. See you then!

Get ready for a special event at the Waddington Library for Halloween in Waddington on the 23rd!

Before our big Storytime on Saturday, come on down this Friday from Noon to 3:00 P.M. to carve or paint a pumpkin with all of your creativity and skill, and set it upon our front steps to display for all to see! There will be many pumpkins available for free, alongside paint and carving kits. Afterwards, bring them to join the other pumpkins by the town hall before 5:00 P.M. on Saturday Night for the Lighted Pumpkin Contest!

Join us this Friday, October 23rd, at the Waddington Library once more for the next session of the Exercise Club at 10:30 A.M! This event will feature various casual aerobics and workout videos, all hosted by Cathy and Anne-Marie. It will take place in our comfortable and temperature-controlled Community Room, completely free and open to everyone! See you then!

Today, Wednesday, October 21st, come on down and join us for the next Community Hangout! It will be taking place at 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. most Wednesdays in our cozy library. Snacks will be available, as well as our plethora of board games, technologies such as the Meta Quest 3 VR System, Steam, Minecraft, 3D Modeling Courses, Nintendo Switch, and our SmartBoard! All ages are welcome, and no registration or sign up is required.

The current LEGO Build Challenge, ‘Spooky Sets’ will continue, so feel free to add your own Halloween flair to our lineup, and vote for your favorite! Additionally, we'll be having a shorter version of our Bingo Hangout! If you've never tried it before, now's your chance to win some great prizes, including 3D Prints, while enjoying a classic game!

The Waddington Library will once more be offering tea, cookies, and other snacks and refreshments alongside an opportunity to bring in a piece of technology you have questions about – a phone, tablet, laptop, etc. – and we’ll be happy to help you learn more about it! With our water returned, tea is certainly back on the menu!
This Tech-n’-Tea Time is completely free and open to everyone, and it will be today, Wednesday, October 21st, from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M!

There will also be a special, optional mini-course offered called 'How to Use Libby and Kanopy', where we'll go over how to use the free library application to get free ebooks, audiobooks, and movies on your computer or mobile device!

This event will continue to be available most Wednesdays and Fridays at 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. See you then!

This Tech Time is completely free and open to everyone, and it will be today, Friday, October 16th, from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M! Unfortunately, our tea is unavailable for today, but it will be back by Wednesday!
