Our 4th and 6th graders had a special opportunity to welcome a local farmer into the classroom to learn about farming, ecosystems, and the important ways our local farmers care for the environment!

Students asked thoughtful questions and discovered that farming involves so much more than planting and harvesting. Farmers are scientists, chemists, biologists, mathematicians, and environmentalists all in one! From understanding soil and ecosystems to making decisions that protect our natural resources, farmers use a wide range of skills and knowledge every single day.

We are thankful for the members of our local agricultural community who take the time to share their knowledge with our students and help them better understand where their food comes from and how farming impacts the world around us.

It’s one of those traditions that reminds us just how quickly the years go by. ❤️

Each year, our kindergarteners and seniors come together for a special Bridge Night during the football season. The kindergarteners represent the very beginning of their school journey, while our seniors are standing at the bridge to the next chapter of theirs.

The two groups are paired together, giving our youngest students a chance to look up to the students who have made it all the way through their school years, and giving our seniors a chance to remember where their own journey began. 🥹

From kindergarten to graduation, these students may be years apart, but they are all part of the same school family.

Custodian Appreciation Day!

Our custodial team does SO much behind the scenes to keep our school clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for our students and staff each day and we are incredibly grateful for all they do!
From the early mornings to the late afternoons, from the big jobs to the little messes that somehow appear out of nowhere, they are always working hard to take care of our building and the people in it.
Thank you for keeping our school running, supporting our staff, and helping create a place where our students can learn, grow, and feel at home. Your hard work truly does not go unnoticed!

Learning Goes Beneath the Surface!

Our 3rd grade Panthers had the incredible opportunity to welcome a certified scuba diver into our classroom! Our students learned so much about scuba diving, underwater exploration, and what it’s like to experience the world beneath the surface.

A huge THANK YOU to Mrs. Stephanie Hein Jenkins for sharing your knowledge, experiences, and time with us! We are so grateful for this hands-on learning opportunity!

Our first and second grade students have been learning about art and what it means to be an artist. They discovered that artists can use just about anything to create art, even the things found in nature!

Some of our first and second grade Panthers took advantage of the beautiful fall weather and headed outside to create their very own masterpieces. Using materials they found outdoors, our artists let their creativity shine. It was wonderful to see their imaginations at work as they turned nature into art!
