Nothing says Lowcountry quite like a perfect glass of sweet tea!

But we get asked all the time, what makes Southern sweet tea truly southern? It all comes down to how you brew it, when you add the sugar, all starting with a good tea!

We shared our go-to recipe for making sweet tea straight from the source, featuring our American Classic Tea grown right here at the Charleston Tea Garden! Read the full recipe here: https://bit.ly/3TsrKC5

There's a lot of magic at the Charleston Tea Garden, but there's nothing more special to us than watching our team hard at work making the tea you know and love!

As a working farm, no two days are exactly the same. Depending on the time of year, you might see our team harvesting, processing, planting and more as you explore the Garden!

Hoping to catch something specific during your visit? We recommend calling about a week ahead of time to see what's happening around the farm. Of course, everything is subject to change based on seasonality, weather, and farm conditions, but there's always something happening at the Charleston Tea Garden!

Meet the makers, growers, creators, and local folks joining us for Autumn on the Island! 🍂

One of our favorite parts of this event is bringing people together around local, fresh, and handmade things.
From farmers and food producers to artists, makers, and small businesses, our vendors are the people behind the products you bring home, the food you put on your table, and the things that make our community special.

Come meet the people behind the products, discover something new, stock up on local goods, and enjoy a day of connecting with the people who help make the Lowcountry such a special place.

If you've ever taken a trolley tour with us, then there's a good chance you've met Ellen!

Ellen has now put a little piece of the tea garden into a book with "A Trolley at the Tea Farm", a charming story that brings the farm and its trolley to life for young readers!

Wether you've ridden our trolley before or are planning your first visit, this is a fun way to keep the tea farm adventure going long after you leave! Grab your own copy here: https://bit.ly/4hwogGT

The city is great, but nothing beats experiencing the quiet, lush beauty of the Charleston Tea Garden. 🌿

Right outside downtown Charleston, you’ll find yourself surrounded by acres of tea plants, peaceful Lowcountry scenery, and a slower pace that makes it easy to sit back, sip a cup of tea, and take it all in.

Whether you’re visiting Charleston for the first time or looking for something new to explore, a little time outside the city is always worth the trip.
