🌺 ONE LAST MAHALO for ʻAINAKEA!🌺

That standing ovation on closing night says it all. ❤️

As the curtain falls on our world premiere, our hearts are full of gratitude!

✨ Our cast and crew — mahalo for your talent, hard work, and heart.

✨ Playwright James Nevius — mahalo for creating this original story rooted in Maui’s history and trusting us with its world premiere.

✨ Director Francis Tauʻa — mahalo for your vision and leadership in bringing this story to life.

✨ Our designers, production team, and volunteers — mahalo for your creativity, countless hours, and behind-the-scenes magic. Every detail helped bring the world of ʻAinakea to life.

✨ Our tireless staff and Board of Directors — mahalo for your dedication to Maui OnStage and our mission.

✨ Our media friends — mahalo for helping spread the word and connect our community with local theater.

✨ Our 2026 Season Sponsor, Wave of Harmony Foundation in partnership with Marji Knowles and Michael Tibbott — mahalo for believing in us and supporting the arts.

❤️ And especially to everyone who came to see ʻAinakea!

We know it's a leap to buy a ticket to a play you may not know, by a playwright you may never have experienced, telling a story you haven't heard before. But you took that leap! You showed up, opened your hearts, and gave a brand-new work of theater a chance. THAT is what being a true supporter of the arts looks like.

To everyone who brought friends and family, spread the word, or shared your experience on social media — MAHALO NUI LOA! You helped this story reach our community.

ʻAinakea was more than a production. It was a story rooted in our island, our history, and now our hearts. 🌺

From all of us at Maui OnStage, MAHALO NUI LOA! ❤️
