Library Cards: Available with no cost to residents of the City of Wakefield and Wakefield Township. Non-residents cards: yearly Non-residents $30 per year, Seasonal Non-residents ( you live here part time during the year) $20

We're kicking off 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞, 𝐖𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞!, a new monthly challenge where YOU come up with the book display theme, and WE bring it to life!

The game boards are ready, the books are waiting, and we’re excited to kick off our Library School Program tomorrow!

Each class has its own game-inspired activity waiting for them as we start our GAME ON! year at WPL. 🎯🎲

We can’t wait to welcome our students back to the library for another year of reading, exploring, and having fun with books!

📞💻 WPL IS GETTING AN UPGRADE!

Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 6, we’ll be making a couple of technology upgrades at the library!

📞 NEW PHONE SYSTEM
Our new phone system will be installed tomorrow, so our phones will be down from late morning into early afternoon. If you try to call and can’t reach us, this is why!

🌐 INTERNET EQUIPMENT UPGRADE
Later in the evening, we’ll be upgrading our internet equipment.

Starting around 5:30 PM, our public computers and faxing will be unavailable while we prepare for the upgrade.

Our internet is expected to go down around 6:30 PM and should be back up no later than 9:00 PM.

📚 The library will still be OPEN during our regular Tuesday hours, 2–7 PM.

Thanks for your patience while we give some of our library technology a much-needed upgrade! 🛠️✨
