Through 7 pm, a few thunderstorms are expected to develop across central Kansas and move into parts of north central KS. The environment could support a brief tornado or two with the thunderstorms. There could also be thunderstorms move into parts of east central Kansas. Be ready to take shelter if storms approach your location.

A Flood Watch is in effect through Thursday, north of I-70 as periods of moderate to heavy rain occur through midweek. Chances increase from west to east today. The heaviest rain stays in north-central and far northern KS tomorrow before the main push of moisture arrives on Thursday. Widespread 1 to 3 inches of rain are likely, which could lead to flooding.
