Trail Update – All trails at the Pembina Gorge State Park are now open!

Open Trails:
- Three Sisters
- Trapper’s Ridge
- Leghold Loop
- Elkspoor (north half)
- Fisher's Descent
- Whitetail Alley
- Beaver Pond Pass
- Lady Slipper Loop (non-motorized)
- Blazing Star Loop (non-motorized)

Closed Trails (for now):
- None

Please respect all signage and trail closures to help preserve the area and ensure safety for yourself and others.

Dreary days make for mucky trails, unfortunately, but the fall colors of the Pembina Gorge sure do stand out! Some updates for this weekends activities:

The Open House is on. The daily vehicle fee is waived today. We will have the fire going for s’mores, a staple of every state park visit. We will be drawing for door prizes and having some friendly competition to test your marshmallow skills.

The trails will be closed today following the rain we’ve received and looks like we’ll be receiving.

We have some sales in our visitor center so get your state park gear while supplies last!

A special thanks to Choice Bank and Nodak Insurance for providing door prizes and s’mores ingredients for our visitors!!

Trail Update – Due to recent weather all multi-purpose Pembina Gorge State Park trails are closed.

Although all multi-purpose trails are closed to OHVs and equestrian riders the entire Pembina Gorge State Park trail system is open to hiking.

Open Trails:
- None

Closed Trails (for now):
- Elk Spoor (north-half)
- Trapper's Ridge
- Three Sisters
- Fisher's Descent
- Whitetail Alley
- Beaver Pond Pass
- Leghold Loop
- Lady Slipper Loop (non-motorized)
- Lady Slipper Loop Extension (non-motorized)

We finally get to celebrate!

Mother Nature may have postponed our June dedication, but we’re excited to celebrate the inaugural season of Pembina Gorge State Park with you on Saturday, September 26.

Join us from 2-5 p.m. for an afternoon of s’mores, a food truck, hands-on activities, arts and crafts, trail exploration and more!

September is a beautiful time to visit the gorge, so book a campsite and make a weekend of it. There are plenty of other events happening in the area, too!

Mark your calendar. We can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with you!
