We had such an informative program this morning from Dakota about owls. She taught us about the nine different types of owls that can be found in Iowa (of the 19 that can be found in the United States). We got to feel their feathers and listen to the sounds they make. It was really interesting! Come join us for Monday Storytimes at 10:00am.

Dakota from Sac County Conservation will be here this morning at 10:00am for Storytime and she'll be teaching us about owls!

Help us preserve Wall Lake’s story!

As our town celebrates its 150th Anniversary, we want to preserve the history of businesses, farms, families and individuals who have called Wall Lake home. 🫶🏼

Whether your story goes back generations or you’re a newer part of our community, we want to hear it! These stories will help us prepare a historical recognition that will last for generations to come.

Share your story by completing the form in the comments or fill out a form at the library!

If you wish to be recognized and a part of history, please have these forms filled out by 12/31/2026.
