🟦 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐮𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐏𝐋'𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫, 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚--

Hi there! My name is Tessa, and I am brand new to the library world. I am a 15-year Wallingford resident and have always been such a huge fan of this library. When the business manager role came up, I was thrilled to try and join this amazing organization!

I come from almost 20 years of retail management and am looking forward to this change of pace and scenery. This library has always provided a safe and welcoming space for me and my daughter (I have numerous photos of her as a young child reading under the tree in the children’s room). I look forward to now being a part of creating that for other members of my community.

Outside of work, I love being active. I play on a recreational volleyball team and am a student and coach of krav maga self defense. I am a huge coffee nerd (thanks to all of my years at Starbucks) and love to cook. I also love the fall and winter time, especially skiing with family. I am super excited for my next “chapter” (yes, pun intended) and to be a part of this phenomenal team in this amazing library!
