Good morning Hornet Nation!! Throughout the year school perform safety drills to make sure that students and staff know what to do in emergencies. Fire drills are conducted each month and other safety drills are planned each semester such as severe weather drills and security drills.

This month we will be conducting a Secure the perimeter drill. This drill is called when there is something in the community outside of the school that could affect safety such as water leaks from fire hydrants, gas leaks that do not require full evacuation, or outside police investigations. During this drill, students and staff stay indoors but classes and other activities remain going as normal. We also deny entry to outside persons during this drill.
