🇺🇸 September 11th — Never Forget 🇺🇸

Today, we remember the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001. We especially remember the 343 firefighters who answered the call that morning and made the ultimate sacrifice.

They ran toward the danger while others were running away. They climbed the stairs knowing they might never come back down. They showed the world what courage, brotherhood, sacrifice, and duty truly mean.

We remember the police officers, EMS personnel, military members, and every innocent life taken that day. We remember the families who lost loved ones and the countless first responders who have since suffered the lasting effects of that terrible day.

As firefighters, we carry their memory with us every time we put on our gear, climb aboard a truck, and answer the call.

Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
Their brotherhood will never be broken.
Their memory will live on forever.

From our firehouse to theirs — Rest easy, brothers and sisters. We have the watch. 🚒🇺🇸
