We're excited to highlight Three Rivers in our Member Spotlight! Serving Northeast Kansas since 1986, 3Rivers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities and seniors to live independently, pursue their goals, and remain active members of their communities.

Three Rivers Inc. hosted their first Disability Mentoring Day in Leavenworth County on Oct 14th. Independent Living Specialist Genea organized a great group of community partners that presented on how they can help in finding employment and different ways that they can provide assistance including Healthy Blue Kansas, Voc Rehab, Pre-ETS and keynote speaker Sean Tyree! The students were very engaged with all of the speakers.

Thank you to Leavenworth Public Library for allowing us to use your space and First City Soda for a fantastic lunch!

Three Rivers Inc. is grateful to have community partners like Healthy Blue Kansas that help us support our consumers and keep them safe in their homes.
Healthy Blue Kansas was able to deliver 100 emergency preparedness kits to help support people in their safety planning.
Emergency planning is especially important for people living with disabilities, older adults, caregivers, and individuals with unique healthcare or access needs. These kits will help support safety preparedness efforts across the Kansas counties that we serve!

Today marks the start of Wamego Match Day!
Match Day provides an opportunity for growth for area organizations that strive to do good works and an opportunity for the community to support these causes. On these day, donations made through the Wamego Community Foundation to participating funds will receive a 50% match that can be used for their most crucial needs.
