Wanamassa Fire Company We are a 100% Volunteer Fire Company. We proudly serve the Township of Ocean Fire District 2, in Monmouth County, NJ.

Our department covers wide ranging needs from fire suppression, rescue, extrication, decontamination, and public education.

10/17/2026 At approx. 02:20 Stations 35 and 86 were dispatched to Bennett Avenue for a reported residential structure fire. First arriving units were met with heavy fire conditions and a box alarm was transmitted. The fire was quickly brought under control. Companies operated on scene for approx. 8 hours. As always thank you to our mutual aid partners. The incident is still under investigation by the Monmouth County Prosecutorโ€™s Office, Monmouth County Fire Marshalโ€™s Office, Neptune City Fire Marshalโ€™s Office and the Neptune City Police Department.

Our Food Drive to benefit the Ocean Township Community Hope Fund is currently underway.

Any non-perishable foods can be dropped off at our firehouse, in boxes by the Sunset Avenue front door and the northeast side door.

Food items can also be brought to our Open House on Saturday, 10/24.

๐Ÿงพ A Clover invoice to pay online will be emailed to you with your visit info in the details. This invoice will be your confirmation.

๐Ÿ—“๏ธ Clover invoices will start being sent in the near future. Donโ€™t panic if you donโ€™t get yours right away; there are over 200 to send out. (Also check your junk mail)

โœ… Once receiving it, review all your visit details. If all is correct, please pay your invoice online.
