The Warner Robins Police Department participated in the Chick-fil-A Russell Parkway's Trunk or Treat event this past Tuesday, October 20th. 🎃🍬 🍫

We always look forward to this event, and after winning the past two years...we are proud to announce that we did it again with our W***y Wonka trunk! 🍫🎩🏆 THREE WINS IN A ROW!

Our team has such a great time with all the kids and adults, and seeing everyone enjoy our display makes all the hard work worth it!

Thank you to Chick-fil-A for inviting us and putting on such a fun event each and every year. And yes—we’ll be back next year with an even bigger and better trunk display! The planning has already begun! 😉

A special thank you to our team that worked so hard on this display: Greg Martin, Kaden Greer, and David & Aimee Ingle.

Stop by the City of Warner Robins Trunk or Treat event tonight at Perkins Field to see our W***y Wonka trunk!!!

The City of Warner Robins is warning residents, businesses, and developers about a scam targeting public hearing applicants, including those with pending zoning and variance applications. Scammers are sending emails that appear to come from the City, often including fake invoices requesting payment for permits or services. These emails may use official-looking logos, staff names, and project details pulled from public records. If you get one of these emails, remember, the scammers are not clever, they just hope you are not paying attention.

With that in mind, here are a few things to look for if you have a suspicious email:
• Fake City Emails: Official City emails always end with .gov
• Fraudulent Payment Requests: Emails may include invoices or ask for payments via wire transfer, which the City does not use for Planning and Zoning fees.
• Unexpected Links or PDFs: Treat any unsolicited attachments or links as suspicious.

Local governments across the Georgia are seeing similar scams. Scammers often monitor public meeting agendas to target applicants directly. The City of Warner Robins is actively working with law enforcement to investigate this scam and safeguard the community.

If you receive a suspicious email:
• Contact the Warner Robins Planning and Zoning Office at 478-302-5517.
• For official permitting information, visit the Planning & Zoning page of the City website.
• Report online fraud to the Georgia Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Team at 404-651-8600 or file a report with the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center.

The Warner Robins Police Department hosted the Glow Run 2026 on Saturday, October 17th. We cannot thank the vendors, food trucks, sponsors, volunteers, Warner Robins Fire Department and WRPD officers and staff enough for helping us make this event an amazing success!

We had the BIGGEST race yet with 913 registered runners! Thank you to the community who came out to this event to support Special Olympics Georgia. We hope you had an absolute blast just like we did! 🟢🔵🟣
