From your local library’s history room:
With Grateful Hearts — 115 Years of Memories

For 115 years, our library has been a part of this community’s story. For this building anyways. The idea spoken for a library room was spoken and created around 1865.

Generations of children have walked through our doors with curious minds and left carrying books, dreams, and memories. Parents have brought their little ones, grandparents have shared stories, friends have gathered, and countless readers have found comfort, inspiration, and a quiet place to belong.

Through changing times and changing generations, one thing has remained constant: you.

To every patron who has turned a page, attended a program, recommended a book, shared a smile, donated, volunteered, or simply walked through our doors—thank you.

Your support has carried this library through 115 wonderful years. We are honored to be a small part of so many lives and so many memories.

Here’s to the stories we’ve shared, the memories we’ve made, and all the pages still waiting to be turned.

With heartfelt gratitude, thank you for being part of our story for 115 years. ❤️📚

What an awesome afternoon yesterday!
Terry Lynch came and did his program "Andrew Carnegie's Gospel of Wealth". We also held a Library Rededication celebrating 115 years as a Carnegie Library and then held a ribbon cutting ceremony with Terry Lynch as Andrew Carnegie cutting the ribbon and rededicating the library to us. We celebrated after the ceremonies with cake and cookies, visiting, and looking at all of the wonderful history displays set up at the library. Thank you to everyone who enjoyed the afternoon with us!!
