This week, we recognize Health Education Week (October 20-24, 2026) and the important role health education plays in building healthier individuals, families, and communities.

Health education empowers people with the knowledge and resources they need to make informed decisions about their well-being. From preventive care and healthy lifestyles to mental health awareness and chronic disease management, education is a powerful tool for improving health outcomes.

At our organization, we are committed to promoting health, wellness, and access to information that helps our community thrive. Together, we can take steps toward healthier lives and a healthier future.

Shout out to our Health Education Staff: Rhonda Mushaw Health Educator III(Supervisor) Karen Prince Health Educator I and Cathia Pope-Program Asst IV.

πŸ’™ Knowledge is power. Education is prevention. Health is wealth.

What an incredible Staff Development Day!

Last week, our team came together under the theme "Growing Together, Rooted in Purpose" to learn, reflect, collaborate, and strengthen our commitment to the individuals and communities we serve.

Just as strong roots provide the foundation for growth, our shared purpose continues to guide everything we do. Throughout the day, we focused on professional development, team building, and exploring ways to enhance the impact of our services. We left inspired, energized, and equipped with new knowledge and ideas that will help us better serve our community.

We are grateful for a team that is dedicated to continuous learning and growth. When we grow together, we become stronger together.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day such a success! πŸ’š
