Clatsop County, we will be having our October meeting on Monday, October 26th, at 5pm in Seaside. Come join us at Iggy's, where we will provide updates heading into Election Day and set our sights on the holiday season & 2027.

Ballots are out, and if you haven't received yours yet, there is time to go to the County Elections office in Astoria to request a provisional ballot to ensure your vote is counted. You can also follow it from ballot box to "Vote Counted" by signing up for a Ballot Trax account with the Secretary of State's office:

Several opposition groups have sprung up, spending thousands on yard signs to fight this. That includes real estate industry folks, who feel threatened by a cooling real estate market and are afraid that investors will stop turning homes into short-term rentals.

Houses are homes, period. They are not investment opportunities, small businesses, and really should not be luxury toys for idle hands & indifferent minds.

If you are in Astoria, vote YES and help create a Community Housing Fund that will keep the City of Dreams from turning into a housing nightmare.

Astoria is more than a beautiful place to visit. It's a community built by the people who live here, work here, raise families here, and look out for one another. But as housing becomes increasingly unaffordable, we're at risk of losing the very people who make this place special.

Measure 4-247 is about making sure Astoria remains a place to call home, not just a place to vacation.

Register to vote, update your registration, or change political parties.

Happy Indigenous Peoples Day! When we talk about building a North Coast that works for everyone, that begins with our neighbors whose ancestry goes back to time immemorial, long before the Lewis & Clark party arrived.

The Lower Chinook, Cathlamet, Willapa, Wahkiakum, and Clatsop bands, known collectively as the Chinook Indian Nation were here first. Everyone since has been an immigrant, living on occupied lands that were never ceded.

They are still here. Today would be a great day to stand in recognition of them by signing the petition for

I just asked my legislators to restore for the Chinook Nation.

The proposed Oregon initiative would target individual taxpayers, but it could inspire dueling ballot measures and fierce opposition.

Ballots will go out in a few days, and voters across Clatsop County will have an opportunity to vote for people & policies that will help bring the Working Families Guarantee to YOUR community this fall.

Healthcare you can rely upon. Affordable Housing. Childcare when and where you need it. A good-paying job with the freedom to organize your labor with a union. Paid time off to spend with your family.

These ideas are not radical. They are the necessary steps to guide Clatsop County back on to the path of prosperity to reach the American Dream.

Make a plan to vote, then VOTE! There are ballot drop boxes across the county, ready to receive your ballot ahead of Election Day.

From the Seas to the Trees,
for Working Families!

31 days until we begin counting votes and measure what opportunities and obstacles lie ahead.

We cannot afford "business as usual" here on the North Coast, and encourage working families to stand up, stand tall, and stand together in demanding a better future!
