🔥 LOCAL 5036 WEBER GRILL FUNDRAISER Stop by the Local 5036 table to purchase $20 raffle tickets for the Weber Grill fundraiser. Cash only! Proceeds benefit the Warrenville Cancer Center, providing free supportive services to oncology patients and their families.

Swift Water Rescue Training 🚒🌊

Following recent rainfall and elevated water levels on the DuPage River, our crews took advantage of the conditions to conduct hands-on swift water rescue training from the riverbank.

Crews practiced donning and working in their personal flotation devices while reviewing rescue positioning, techniques, and tactics used during swift water incidents. Training in these conditions helps our members become familiar with their equipment and reinforces the skills needed to operate safely around moving water.

Regular, hands-on training ensures our crews are prepared to respond when water-related emergencies occur.

Training, teamwork, and preparation — that’s how we stay ready. 🚒💪

We enjoyed connecting with the community and meeting our new friend!

Fire safety has a new ambassador! Bluey joined Warrenville Fire Protection District firefighters at our recent Touch-a-Truck event, helping connect families with the people and equipment that keep our community safe.

Thanks to the fire department for making memories with Warrenville kids.
