The 260 million-year-old limestone formations, blind cave fish and underground pool are just a few of the natural wonders exhibited in the colorful cavern. The park features an Olympic-size swimming pool, picnic area, large and small picnic shelter, hiking trails, playground, campground and gift shop. Hours:

Office: 9AM-5PM

Pool Hours: - 10AM-5:45PM

Cave Tours: 10, 12, 2, and 4

AHHHH! We just had a terrible dream! Everyone was missing out on all the fun of Frightful Fridays!

Folks have had a scarily good time at both Frightful Fridays: Monsters in Mythology and Eyes in the Dark this year. They have snacked, laughed, learned, and braved the depths of the cave under the light of glowsticks!

But don’t fear! It’s not too late to stop the ghost of missing out from haunting you! We still have three more Frightful Fridays left in October for you to enjoy!

Leaves twist in an autumn breeze as cool nights bring a welcome shiver through the starry night air. Like the expected call of a barred owl across the woodland after day’s end, October has come, long awaited and all at once. Adrift in the wonders of fall, this season transforms like a pumpkin into a carriage, creating a magical time to visit the park. Bat Appreciation Month has begun, encouraging bat lovers to share their joy for the nocturnal creatures that swoop across the sky. Frightful Fridays invite the brave, curious, and even the shy to see the cave under glowstick light and uncover the spooky science behind the things we fear. Other activities, trails, and cave tours await those who answer autumn's call.

Something is lurking in the park! It's spooky, and glowing, and getting closer...

It can’t be... could it...? It’s Frightful Fridays!

This family-friendly event invites you to enjoy snacks as you unravel the mysteries behind one of many bone-chilling, interesting, or downright fun themes! Afterward, the brave may descend into the cavern, lit only by glowsticks and lanterns, for an exclusive tour!

It’s the Equinox! The nights stretch longer and longer as we welcome in the official start of fall!! Crunchy leaves, cozy campfires, and weather perfect for hiking, camping, and enjoying nature- there is no better time to explore our trails! Traverse the karst landscape of mixed hardwood forest and admire the autumn-kissed leaves and dappled light, spotting moss-coated stones as you weave through over 3 miles of trails!

Every Friday in October promises a spooky theme, terrifyingly tasty snacks, and ghostly tour through the cave lit by lantern light and glowsticks! The scariest thing about this event? It’s family friendly so there’s no end to the fun you could have!
