On Wednesday Oct. 7th during Fire Prevention Week the Office of the State Fire Marshal held a morning seminar on the Dangers of Lithium Ion batteries. BC Christopher Gray of the Central Falls Fire Department was the guest speaker. An eclectic audience of Firefighters, auto body repair, tow truck operators, residential board and care and local Colleges were on hand for this important informational event. We were happy to have Karen Berard- Reed from NFPA sit in with helpful information on moving forward with idea's of protecting the citizens of Rhode Island..hope to see you at the next event...stay safe
