You don't have to be an expert to be part of prevention.

Sometimes prevention starts with being willing to listen, learn something new, and better understand what children and families may be navigating.

Join us for our October Partners in Prevention meeting featuring Tipping Point, a documentary from the Women's Resource Center, followed by conversation and Q&A.

Weโ€™ll also hear from Protectors of the Children.

Healthy relationships help children thrive. ๐Ÿ’œ

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month โ€” a time to recognize the impact of domestic violence and the importance of safe, healthy relationships for children and families.

Prevention can look like listening without judgment, offering support, helping someone connect to safe resources, and reminding families that they don't have to face difficult times alone.

Small acts of support can make a difference.

Prevention starts with strong families. ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ’œ Some stories deserve to be heard.

This October, as we recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month, join us for a special screening of Tipping Point, a 20-minute documentary featuring the experiences of eight survivors and the barriers they faced in leaving abusive situations.

Following the film, weโ€™ll have time for discussion and Q&A with the Women's Resource Center, plus a brief introduction to Protectors of the Children and their work supporting children and youth impacted by child sexual abuse.

Whether you work with children and families or simply want to learn more, youโ€™re welcome to join us. Listening, learning, and understanding more are all part of prevention. ๐Ÿ’œ

Prevention can look like learning about experiences we may not fully understand. It can look like recognizing barriers, knowing where support is available, and responding with compassion.

At our October Partners in Prevention meeting, weโ€™ll screen Tipping Point from the Womenโ€™s Resource Center and make space for conversation and learning.
