"Gosford Park" (2001) is a satirical mystery film that follows a weekend shooting party at an English country estate where a wealthy industrialist is murdered, leaving both the aristocratic guests and their serving staff as suspects. Director Robert Altman masterfully weaves together themes of class dynamics and hidden secrets, culminating in an intricate whodunit that exposes the stark contrasts between life upstairs and downstairs.
