Eleven students from the Washburn High School Concert Choir are participating in the Chorfest Regional Honor Choir today at UW- Superior! Students will spend the day rehearsing with the UWS choir before presenting a concert at 7pm tonight in Thorpe Langley Auditorium. It’s a great opportunity for our students to experience performing with a full orchestra and students from around the area! Plus, we get to reconnect with several Washburn choir alums who are in the UWS choir, including tenor Henry Means, who is performing as a soloist with the choirs this evening!

Congratulations to the Washburn band and choir students who performed in the State Solo & Ensemble Festival at UW-Eau Claire last Saturday! Nine of our musicians participated in a total of ten events at the festival, and all received great feedback from their judges! A special shout-out to Raina U for winning the Exemplary Performance Award for her Musical Theater piece!
