Remember to be kind to yourself. Progress does not need to be linear to be meaningful.

It's important to take care of your physical well-being even during exam period. Part of that is making sure to eat regularly! If you feel like you don't have time to make food or like you don't have the mental energy to figure out what to make, I'd suggest checking out this video from How to ADHD. The recent time change for daylight savings means the sun is setting earlier in the day, so you're probably not getting as much sunlight! As the days get shorter, many people start to feel the effects of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), which is a type of depression brought on by the change of seasons and diminished daylight hours. WCL's Women of Color Coalition is holding a bracelet-making event on September 22nd at 6pm that MHA is proud to be supporting.
During the hustle and bustle of the new semester, it can be difficult to stay present and feel centered. This event prioritizes grounding techniques through affirmation-bracelet making. WoCC will also use this brave space to unpack experiences as women and nonbinary people of color in the academic legal space. Tea, chocolate, and beading crafts will be included.
