I was so glad I could connect with our young folks and Councilman Richard Starr at the 3rd Annual Mental Health Matters Youth Summit.
 
Appreciated the opportunity to answer questions and hear more from students. By opening up safe spaces to discuss mental health—or whatever else is on their minds—we can give them the tools they need to advocate for themselves.

After years of baseless accusations and racist smears against Rep. Ilhan Omar, the Trump Administration raided her home less than 30 days before an election.

This is an outrageous abuse of power and a clear attempt to weaponize law enforcement against a political opponent. It is disgraceful, dangerous, and unacceptable.

We will hold Trump and his administration accountable.

I was honored to attend the Bakers’ Local 19 Retiree Luncheon this week and speak on the importance of workers’ rights, union rights, and protecting the benefits that our seniors have earned.

In NE Ohio, we look out for each other. But Trump’s SNAP cuts are putting a strain on families and local charities.

Whip Clark and I met with local leaders at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank to talk about rising hunger in NE Ohio and the importance of cancelling Trump’s cuts.

I welcomed Congresswoman Katherine Clark to Cleveland for a visit to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank to highlight their innovative work to provide food & resources to families as costs rise.

We also met with local leaders to discuss hunger in NE Ohio and the critical importance of SNAP benefits for local families. No one should go hungry in Northeast Ohio or anywhere in America.

I will continue to fight to cancel Trump’s cuts to SNAP and help local families keep food on the table.
