I’m leading a letter with over 50 of my colleagues demanding that DHS protect the due process rights of Ukrainian Temporary Protected Status holders.

The Administration must formally re-designate Ukraine for TPS to extend this eligibility and allow Ukrainians who have fled war to receive protections here in the United States.

I was honored to join Lieutenant Colonel David Gauntlett at the formal pinning for his Bronze Star with a V.

Due to lost paperwork, this medal was long overdue and I’m glad that my team was able to help make this happen. Lieutenant Colonel Gauntlett's bravery in Vietnam saved lives, and in over 50 years of service to the military, he demonstrated great courage and patriotism.

On World Menopause Day we are reminded to keep fighting for accessible, quality women’s healthcare. Perimenopause and menopause are natural stages of life experienced by millions of women every year but are severely overlooked and under researched.

That’s why I’m working alongside the Democratic Women's Caucus to address the ongoing estrogen patch shortage and increase funding for research on women’s health.
