It’s Almost Friday and we’re celebrating all our seniors who had their last ‘first PMT week’!

Our seniors have dedicated years of hard work and commitment to the detachment, and we are so proud to see them enter their final year in AFROTC and prepare to commission as 2Lts in the world’s greatest Air Force and Space Force 🚀

We’re finishing off the 2026 Field Training season with C/Umurungi who earned her prop and wings last week!

Despite being the lone airman from our detachment, she adjusted to the environment at Maxwell in no time and gave it her all every single day 💪

C/Anderson is another proud Det 130 cadet that had the opportunity to participate in the USAFA Freefall program for her ODT this summer!

Though the training course was strenuous, the skills and memories made from this experience have been nothing short of phenomenal.

Let’s congratulate C/Anderson for earning her jump wings! 🪂

This summer, C/Wingen had the opportunity to partake in the USAFA Freefall program as his Officer Development Training (ODT).

This challenging and rewarding program requires students to undergo a rigorous school training course taught by cadet Jumpmasters of the USAFA Parachute Team. They will then learn the form, procedures, and confidence necessary to complete five unassisted freefall skydives from 4,500 ft above ground level.
