Middle East and Turkey Affairs: U.S. Chamber of Commerce

Honored to have HE Yasser Reda, Egypt’s Ambassador to the US, and HE Fareed Yasseen, Iraq’s Ambassador to the US, attend US Chamber President and CEO Tom Donohue’s 2018 State of American Business address today.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce hosted a roundtable meeting with H.E. Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Ambassador of Kuwait to the U.S., to discuss increased cooperation for the U.S.-Kuwait economic relationship.

The U.S. Chamber's U.S.-Iraq Business Initiative recently hosted H.E. Dr. Saleem Al- Jubouri, Speaker of the Council of Representatives of Iraq, for a roundtable discussion with American companies.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s CEO and President, Thomas J. Donohue, met with Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to the United States, His Royal Highness Prince Khaled bin Salman. They discussed the U.S. Chamber’s U.S.-Saudi Arabia Business Program’s extensive work and activities as well as the Ambassador’s priorities for advancing the economic relationship.

The two spoke about ways to strengthen and elevate the important commercial ties between our two countries, and to ensure American companies continue to play a leading role as a partner in the Kingdom’s ambitious economic transformation plans to build out knowledge-based sectors and diversify their economy.
