American students discover the tourism and cultural heritage of Korhogo.




As part of a tourism and cultural discovery trip organized in collaboration with the Côte d’Ivoire Tourism Office in Washington, D.C., a group of American students recently visited Korhogo, in northern Côte d’Ivoire.
During their stay, the students discovered the traditional process of making shea butter. They were able to observe the various stages of processing shea nuts and discuss the craft with local women artisans.
The group also visited several tourist and cultural sites in Korhogo and the surrounding area, discovering the traditions, craftsmanship, and rich heritage of northern Côte d’Ivoire.
This experience provided a wonderful opportunity for cultural exchange between the young Americans and the local population, while allowing them to gain a better understanding of Côte d’Ivoire, its culture, and its tourism attractions.

Des élèves américains à la découverte du patrimoine touristique et culturel de Korhogo

Dans le cadre d’un voyage de découverte touristique et culturelle, organisé en collaboration avec le Bureau du Tourisme de Côte d’Ivoire à Washington, D.C., un groupe d’élèves américains a récemment séjourné à Korhogo, dans le nord de la Côte d’Ivoire.
Au cours de leur séjour, les élèves ont découvert le processus traditionnel de fabrication du beurre de karité. Ils ont pu observer les différentes étapes de transformation des noix de karité et échanger avec les artisanes locales sur leur savoir-faire.
Le groupe a également visité plusieurs sites touristiques et culturels de Korhogo et de ses environs, découvrant ainsi les traditions, l’artisanat et le riche patrimoine du nord ivoirien.
Cette expérience a constitué une belle occasion d’échanges culturels entre les jeunes Américains et les populations locales, tout en leur permettant de mieux connaître la Côte d’Ivoire, sa culture et ses richesses touristiques.
