The press has gone from saying I can’t beat a deeply entrenched incumbent, to saying I’m an underdog with a chance, to considering me the serious contender in the race to watch. The tides are shifting in Redwood City and I truly believe the city is ready for this change. Thank you to all my family, friends, neighbors and district 6 supporters who have been with me on this journey. If you live in Redwood City District 6 and have not voted yet, I would humbly ask for your vote. As this morning’s Daily Journal points out, Diane is going for her seventh term and so many people I have talked to while knocking on doors are asking for a new voice. It’s time. Let’s do this!

As an elected representative for our community I will ensure that voices, young and old, are heard and represented. We need a new voice at city hall. I hope you’ll join me by electing me as your council member for district 6.

Small businesses are the backbone of our community. They provide connection to community. Jobs for families. Identity for our town. We need to do more to encourage small business and to protect the ones we have.

Talk is cheap when it comes to creating affordable housing. I’ve worked hard to create more opportunities for first time homebuyers and I’m excited to introduce my ideas when I’m elected to the city council.

It was an honor to serve on the Housing and Human Concerns Committee (HHCC) for 5 years. I feel that my experience on this committee among many other things has prepared me to lead on the Redwood City Council. My resolve and energy level has never been stronger, a few more weeks of campaigning to go, let’s do this!

If my opponent were to be elected she will have served 28 years on City Council. We need a new voice. A fresh voice. My commitment is to give everyone in our community a voice. To advocate for the values that matter most to us.

Out here here walking, talking, and winning hearts and minds! So fun to do this with friends and so fun to hear from so many residents in Redwood City. I’ve heard some stories I tell ya! This has to be my favorite part of campaigning.
