The SBA controls a very large budget to spend on student services, student organizations, competition groups, and alternative spring breaks. This is your money, and you should have better access to SBA information.

We will also fight for transparency with the WCL Administration to make sure the student body understands how pass/fail grading will actually be implemented, what affects COVID-19 will have on us for the 2020-2021 school year, and what kind of reimbursements we can receive because we no longer have access to campus.

Out of your tuition, $255 in student fees per semester goes to the SBA to spend and manage for the entire student body. We believe it is important to consider every request for spending very carefully to make sure that the SBA budget is benefiting as many students in the best way possible. We strongly believe there are several necessary amendments the Finance Handbook needs to make sure that all traveling students, like for alternative spring break, are treated equally and are given the same per diem.

Our campus is supposed to be modern, accessible, and forward thinking. Yet there are many classrooms and bathrooms with no automatic doors. We are mindful that the campus needs to be more inclusive and accessible to all.
We already heard from one student that online classes need to offer remote instruction for student with disabilities so they can actively participate. This is a wonderful idea and we are listening for more!

EVENING STUDENTS always getting the short end of the stick. Services and classes aren't always made available to accommodate their work schedules, they miss out on events, and they don't even get a UPASS!
