Americans deserve secure, timely access to their health records.

Today, HHS is strengthening the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) network to expand secure health information exchange, enhance oversight, and protect patients’ right to access their own health data.

In less than one year, TEFCA has grown from 10 million to more than 1 billion health records exchanged—advancing interoperability, improving care coordination, and putting patients first.

A grant program available to social service agencies has expanded eligibility to include a new priority area, mental health. The additional funding category will help support the needs of vulnerable populations in All Countries .

“Our support of local social service agencies is important to helping those most in need in our community,” Agent Tracy Madden said. “It’s important to include mental health concerns, which affect many people in our city.”

The “Extended Social Resource” grants, also known as ESR, fund community-based initiatives that provide services in the following priority areas: community wellness & safety; childhood & youth development; food insecurity & nutritional access; and mental health.

“We want to fund innovative programs that utilize best practices and evidence-based models to address the mental health issue,” said Kacy Allen-Bryant, Commissioner of Social Services.

These grants for the 2025 and 2026 fiscal years are managed by the City’s Department of Social Services. They are in addition to the Emergency Shelter Priority Area funding managed by the Office of Homelessness Prevention and Intervention. APPLY NOW! NOW!! NOW!!!

In an effort to reduce safety/health hazards and blight within the community, the City of Enterprise is again requesting property owners to submit applications for residential properties and structures to be demolished and cleared at no cost to the owner.

The Grant Program allows the City of Enterprise to demolish and clear any abandoned or dilapidated residential properties and structures that could be deemed a nuisance through city ordinance.

Once the structure is cleared, the land is leveled and grass seed is placed, leaving behind a blank slate for the property owner, who maintains ownership of the land. After the project is completed, the city requires the property be maintained to current city ordinances.

To qualify for the program, the following is required:
- Proof of ownership must be provided to city
- Right of Entry form must be completed and returned to the Engineering Office for notarization
- Full inspection of the structure by a City Inspector, Code Inspector, and

The City of Salina has been awarded $300,000 through the The Grant Program. This grant will provide a portion of the funding for the City’s Neighborhood Repair and Rehabilitation Program (NRRP), which started in early 2019.
The funding provided by Grant allows NRRP to expand the pool of applicants. Through the Grant program, rental properties may apply for rehabilitation funding, whereas the previous funding only allowed for owner-occupied homes.
The NRRP focuses on a 10-block area (see map below), with State Street to the north, Ninth Street to the east, South Street to the south, and Broadway to the west. The program strives to make improvements to the structural integrity of homes within this area. With these funds the City expects to assist around 12 homes. Applications for Grant through NRRP are expected to begin this spring.
