The Book Return Monster is here! Now when students ask where do they put the books we have an easy direction for them (vs them standing in front of the book drop & looking everywhere but the book drop. It’s a struggle!).

No, I had not read Jason Reynold’s Long Way Down Yet. Yes, I still called myself a tween/teen librarian 😳. But I remedied this issue within the first week of employment, okay?!

If you too have failed to read this (librarian or not) move it to the top of your TBR pile immediately.

Also please share- what boo haven’t you read yet that you’re embarrassed to admit?

My first display! Which involved me battling with the rolls of bulletin board paper but hey, only one person witnessed that so let’s just pretend it didn’t happen. 🪐

Met some of our students today at the open house- more & more excited to be .middle.school each day!
