Our team was proud to represent Army Medical Recruiting at the Military Academies and Colleges Expo held by the Army Historical Foundation at Fort Belvoir on October 4th!
Captain Erin Brymer, an Army Healthcare Recruiter and Labor & Delivery Nurse (66G), met students, families, and future leaders to share insights about serving as an Army Nurse and the many opportunities available in Army Medicine.
Events like these help us connect with the next generation of medical professionals and future Army Officers who are ready to serve their country while advancing their careers in healthcare.

Our very own CPT Riordan Dail!!!
š Officer Spotlight: CPT Riordan Dail
From nutrition science to mission success, CPT Dail is the kind of leader who brings both heart and hustle to Army medicine.
As an Army Dietitian (65C), sheās not only an expert in performance nutrition, sheās also a standout medical recruiter at our Elkridge Station, helping future healthcare professionals find their path to service.
š CPT Dail earned her degree debt free through the Army-Baylor Masterās in Nutrition (MPN) program, a competitive graduate opportunity that blends academic excellence with military leadership.
Whether sheās mentoring applicants or fueling Soldier readiness, CPT Dail leads with purpose, precision, and pride.
š Join us in celebrating her impact, and if youāre curious about Army healthcare careers, sheās one of the best people to talk to.
She graciously took the time to answer a few qustions for us. Here's her full response:
1. Why do you serve or why did you join the Army?
I joined the Army shortly after receiving my undergraduate degree. I knew I wanted to be a dietitian, but I couldnāt determine how Iād achieve that goal due to the steep cost of a masterās degree and dietetic internship (MS/DI). My dad is in the Army, and I didnāt even know there were dietitians in the military. When I found out about the Army-Baylor University Masterās Program in Nutrition (MPN), formerly the Graduate Program in Nutrition (GPN), I was intrigued. I learned that I could complete my MS/DI while serving my country and receiving full pay and benefits, and I decided that was the path for me.
2. What would you tell someone contemplating service?
Joining is a deeply personal decision. While no one can tell you if itās right for you, I can say the benefits are plentiful. When I signed up, I knew Iād be able to complete my MS/DI, become a dietitian, and be guaranteed immediate employment. What I didnāt know is that I would quickly be built into a leader, get to travel the world, and build camaraderie with other service members that canāt be understood unless youāve served.
3. What is your proudest Army accomplishment or moment?
My proudest Army accomplishment was working with my 68Ms (Nutrition Care Specialists) in South Korea and seeing them learn and grow into true dietitian extenders. It was amazing to see their transformations over such a short period of time.
