Congratulations to Ms. Shabazz for winning the Mayor's Award of Excellence in Teaching the Visual Arts!

Some students are going to the White House today, while others are going to see "An Ideal Husband" at the Shakespeare Theatre. Our students are doing great things all over town today!

Seniors and TMA Warriors- Despite our best efforts to get President Obama to come speak at our commencement, we were not selected as finalists for the commencement challenge. Oh well, Pushing forward!

Congratulations to Seniors Markus Batchelor and Moo Ho Bae II for winning the Stephen Joel Trachtenberg Scholarship, a 4-year Full Ride to George Washington University.

Stephen Joel Trachtenberg Scholarships 2011 Nine D.C. high school seniors surprised with full ride scholarships to the George Washington University. The Stephen Joel Trachtenberg award covers tuition, fees, room, board and books at GW. The 2011 recipients are; Sarai Reed, Adam Middleton, Chidi Agbaeruneke, Hope Ajayi, Moo Bae, Markus Batch
