I have just reached out to Justin Levine and congratulated him on becoming the next Comptroller of AUSG. This is not the result that we worked so hard to achieve and I am just as disappointed as you are. Throughout this campaign I sought to put forward bold and progressive ideas to finally address the unrelenting issues that plague us. That just didn't seem to be enough.
While we came up short, I am fortunate to have had the chance to put those ideas out there and will never stop advocating for real solutions. I hope the AU Community continues to engage the Comptroller at this crucial time with COVID-19 aid being distributed and the University Budget talks commencing. Thank you to everyone who supported me and spoke with me about how we can make a better AU.
The work goes on, the cause endures, and may the dream never die. Thank you.

Thank you to everyone who voted over these past couple of days. Whatever happens, I know we've changed the conversation and shown that positive idea-centric campaigning is possible. The results will be announced tonight at 9pm EST.

This is the most important Comptroller election you'll vote in. I believe I am the best suited person to take on the issues that matter. Don't just take my word for it, though.
"We are endorsing Robbins because of his in-depth knowledge of the financial systems within AUSG and the university as a whole"--AU NAACP and AULCDA
"We decided to endorse Robbins because of his explicit vision and plans that put students first"--AU Roosevelt Institute
All of these organizations agree: Jacob Robbins is the best choice for Comptroller.
For real plans that actually will get things done and move us forward, for experience that matters vote Jacob for Comptroller.

The time has come my friends. Throughout this campaign I made my case to you through bold actionable plans that go beyond buzzwords to actually get stuff done. I have real experience that I believe makes me the best person for the job.
It isn’t the most glamorous position of the ballot, but make no mistake: this Comptroller race is the most important election you’ll vote in this year. It’s a University budget year and who is in that room matters. This isn’t a fun learning opportunity. What’s at stake is the well-being and livelihood of students.
I hope I’ve earned your vote. If you don’t vote for me, please at least vote YES on the divestment referendum.

As Chairman of the Finance Committee it was my idea to create a Club Co-Sponsorship Fund. Since its creation 70% of the funds have been used to help affinity groups put on events and travel to conferences. These organizations do some of the most important work on our campus, helping build community. AUSG must do more to ensure that all clubs and affinity groups feel like they are supported and that they know what resources exist.
I've got a plan that goes beyond buzzwords to ensure that all clubs and affinity groups can flourish and do the important work they do with the full backing of AUSG.

I am so incredibly honored to receive the endorsement of the American University Chapter of the NAACP and AULCDA.
They are endorsing me because of my "in-depth knowledge of the financial systems within AUSG and the university as a whole. He understands how finances can both negatively and positively impact our community and he is committed to involving Black organizations in reforming the comptroller’s position."
This will be the most important Comptroller election you will vote in during your time at AU. Voting begins tomorrow--I hope I've earned your support

I have said that this Comptroller election is the most important one you will vote in during your time here. The administration and oversight of COVID-19 related aid will be another essential function that the Comptroller will play. My plan to normalize relations with the Financial Aid Office is needed now more than ever.

AU Dems, thank you for your leadership. We love you. In the sharpest possible words we condemn fully the abhorrent and sexist behavior that happened. We stand with you, and love you.

Thank you to the Roosevelt Institute for endorsing our candidacy!
"For Comptroller, we are endorsing Jacob Robbins. We decided to endorse Robbins because of his explicit vision and plans that put students first. His detailed plan to tackle the increasing costs of Founder’s Day and call for a Department of Student Labor within AUSG highlighted his commitment to the workers’ rights and progressive reform. He is also uniquely qualified given his previous experience writing an AUSG budget that having him at the table as AU starts its next budget process means students have an informed ally advocating on their behalf."
This is going to be the most important Comptroller election you will vote in during your time here at AU. Experience and plans matter. As always, I hope to earn your vote with bold and progressive plans that will get stuff done.
