House of Sweden is a physical representation of Swedish values such as openness, transparency and democracy. It's also the flagship of Swedish public diplomacy in the United States with exhibitions, seminars, cultural events, kids workshops and more!

House of Sweden is a stunning example of contemporary Scandinavian architecture designed by Gert Wingårdh and Tomas Hansen. With its location on the banks of the Potomac it's the only venue in Washington, DC with panoramic views of the river, Kennedy Center, Air Force Memorial and the Watergate Complex. With over 12,000 square feet of meeting and event space, House of Sweden can accommodate from 2 to 500 guests in a unique minimalistic Scandinavian environment in the heart of historic Georgetown.
