Our Story

The U.S.-Angola Chamber of Commerce (USACC) is the oldest & unique organization devoted exclusively to promoting U.S. trade & investment in Angola, & Angolan economic development.

Recently, in Houston, Texas during the Offshore Technology Conference, USACC, in partnership with the United States Embassy in Angola’s Commercial Service and Sonangol E.P., a briefing on “Doing Business in Angola: Opportunities for the Oil & Gas Sector.”

The Doing Business in Angola sessio is the second of a series of events hosted by USACC to promote Angola’s economic potential. In April, in Washington, DC, USACC in partnership with the World Bank-IMF Group, organized a meeting with the Angolan delegation to discuss with US entities the measures being taken by the new Government of Angola to encourage investment, mobilize funding, combate regional asymmetries and support activities of micro and small enterprises in to promote diversification of Angola’s economy.
