In the House Ways and Means Committee, we have been working to cut red tape and help rural communities get the resources they need through the Rural Health Transformation Fund. We did our part by authorizing the fund, and now the state has done theirs.

It has just been announced that Wooster Community Hospital will receive $1.3 MILLION from the Rural Transformation Fund. I look forward to seeing all that they can achieve for the health of OH-07.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Dr. Mehmet Oz, administrator of the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), today announced Rural Health Transformation Program awards totaling $92 million to manage chronic illnesses and expand access to preventive, primary, maternal, and behavioral heal...

It has become a luxury to have a mortgage. As a result, we are seeing a trickle-down effect: fewer Americans are starting families, putting down roots, and living the American Dream.

This Congress, we passed the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, which cuts bureaucratic red tape, and I introduced the Homes for Heroes Act, which aids veterans in their efforts to buy a home.

Next Congress, there is still more to do. Read my op-ed below ⬇️

Rep. Max Miller argues that housing shortages in rural Ohio hinder economic development and calls for federal support to ensure workers can afford to live in their communities.

I had a fantastic visit with the leadership team at Wooster Community Hospital. They gave me a tour of their facility and shared the important work they’re doing, as well as their hope of acquiring an imaging machine to better meet the healthcare needs of patients in Wooster.

Rural hospitals often face challenges that urban hospitals do not. Access to equipment and manpower can be limited, even as these hospitals serve our agricultural communities—the people who work hard to put food on our tables.

I look forward to continuing to assist Wooster’s invaluable healthcare efforts!

It was a pleasure getting to visit with Kory Wiita, the founder of ARC Medina. He gave us a tour of their facility and spoke to us about his personal journey with a spinal cord injury and how it inspired the work he and his team are doing to bring new paralysis therapies to Ohio.

I’m truly in awe their commitment to help heal and motivate those in the community who deal with these challenges.

I had the privilege of touring the AllFasteners facility in Medina today with Mayor Shields of Medina and Police Chief Kinney. AllFasteners has become a national leader in fastening and construction supply—and thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts’ bonus depreciation, they can invest in new equipment, expand, and create more opportunities right here in Medina.

When local manufacturers grow, our economy grows. 🇺🇸

I was grateful to attend the Ashland Fair and spend time connecting with so many members of our community.

It’s always a privilege to hear directly from constituents, share in the spirit of the occasion, and celebrate all that makes our community special.

I had a great time at Wooster’s own, Woosterfest! It was incredible to see all the local vendors and connect with the community.

🚨 Today, 86% of children with cancer survive at least five years, compared to approximately 58% in the mid-1970s. We have made incredible progress in combating this disease, but there is still major work to be done.

I introduced a resolution recognizing Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, honoring the resilience of these children and families, and highlighting the efforts of the doctors and researchers. ⬇️

REP MILLER RECOGNIZES SEPTEMBER AS CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS MONTH WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman Max Miller (R-OH-07) with Representatives Mike Kelly (PA-16) and Kat Cammack (FL-3) introduced a congressional resolution recognizing September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and reaffirming the...

It was a beautiful day in Medina for the Fall Festival. It is truly amazing to witness the talent and effort that go into their crafts. Gatherings like these make me so proud to be a part of this community.

We say we want to make the United States of America the crypto capital of the world—and this bill makes sure that goal isn’t just a bunch of hot air. I am proud of the work we have put into this legislation and for the inclusion of my bill, the Full House Act.
