Today’s passage of the Farm Bill is a major win for farmers, families, and rural communities across our country. Since coming to Congress, I’ve worked hard to advance commonsense priorities that strengthen our agricultural economy, support producers, and invest in the long-term success of rural America. I’m proud to see several of the provisions I’ve championed in this package, and I look forward to continuing to deliver results for the people I represent.

I voted with Anna Paulina Luna to remove protections for chemical companies from the Farm Bill. Anyone who has suffered from harmful chemicals should be able to have their day in court.

I’m praying for everyone at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner and am deeply grateful for the swift response from law enforcement and the Secret Service.
