Last night, PDI hosted a movie night featuring the movie Chaplin of the Mountains, which discusses the people of the Kurdish Mountains. The film's producer and director, Jano Rojbeani attended the event and participated in a Q&A as well.

Tuesday night, our participants took part in a Peace Walk, led by Creative Peace Initiatives, a student organization at American University whose goal is to promote peace education and creative peacebuilding and address issues involving youth and conflict. The walk commemorated monuments and places in Washington DC where moments in peace and social justice history have occurred.
