For the third time, I voted yes.

Bipartisan home affordability bill passes the House 05/22/2026

For millions of Americans, especially younger generations, the dream of owning a home has grown further and further out of reach as costs skyrocket and available housing options dwindle.

The bipartisan 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act aims to change that. I voted YES to make affordable housing more of a reality and prevent young families from being priced out of their communities.

Bipartisan home affordability bill passes the House The bill is meant to encourage home construction, and would ban corporate investors from buying up more homes to rent out.
