And we're proud to have so far shared six original stories — including Comerica Bank, M&T Bank, Commerce Bank, TD, PNC, and Investors Bank which is soon to be a part of Citizens Bank — in our series highlighting the incredible banking relationships that helped bring so many of our nation's small business through the worst of this economic crisis.

Composing Room, a small printing business in Pennsylvania, had some tough decisions to make when COVID disrupted operations. Thankfully, M&T Bank was able to quickly help Larry Weiss secure relief through a Paycheck Protection Program loan, saving jobs and protecting the health of their employees so they could safely serve their customers.
We are so thrilled to be celebrating America's small businesses who, in spite of immense challenges, not only survived this pandemic, but thrived. In honor of , we're shining a light on those businesses who partnered with our nations' leading banks to help carry them through!

Turning over consumers' personal financial info to the IRS is wrong. We're grateful for those in Congress who, in response to significant concerns from their constituents, are taking a stand and hope Congress ultimately rejects any effort to air drop this in at the 11th hour.
Democrats call for removing IRS bank reporting proposal from spending bill A group of 21 Democratic U.S. representatives sent a letter to House leadership on Wednesday calling for a proposed bank reporting rule to be removed from the $2 trillion dollar budget reconciliation bill.

Democrats Try to Salvage IRS Bank-Account Reporting With Scaled-Back Plan Democrats scaled back a proposal that would require banks to send more information about customers’ accounts to the Internal Revenue Service, raising to $10,000 from $600 the key reporting threshold.
