Today, Under Secretary Kaplan announced the release of the 2018 goods export data for the nation’s 392 Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSA). Last year, U.S. metro areas exported $1.5 trillion in merchandise throughout the world, an increase for more than $110 billion when compared to 2017. The data shows that 259 metropolitan areas reported positive export growth, with 94 achieving record-level exports!
