Capitol Hill Village is a non-profit organization serving seniors in Capitol Hill and surrounding neighborhoods who wish to age in their community.

We also provide access to case management, social, educational, and wellness programming.

Michael Hash, former Director of the Office of Health Reform at the Dept. of Health and Human Services and one of the architects of the ACA, returns to Village Voices to talk about the status of the ACA and whether we can still call it either affordable or viable.

That's how the cookie crumbles folks! We're happy to report another very successful cookie drive this year.

We delivered 2,300 cookies to 322 CHV members with over 30 types of cookies! And we had 30 volunteers who took the time to help bake, package, and deliver these cookies. An extra special thank you to MOTH, the St Mark’s Youth Group, St. Peters School, Boy Scout Troop 827, and Girl Scout Troop 44133.

Beverley Jeffries has been volunteering with Capitol Hill Village for almost three years! As a long time Capitol Hill resident of 30+ years, Beverley is grateful to have an outlet to give back to others in the community that she loves.
