Welcome GZEP Family! Here are several site managers and team leaders extending a warm welcome to the youth participating in the 2024 Green Zone Environmental Program (GZEP).
Today was a field trip day for the GZEP Anacostia #2 cohort! They went to the Aquatic Resources Education Center where they learned and practiced how to fish in preparation for their upcoming field trip to Kingman Island!
DOEE's 2023 GZEP program is in full swing! Here we have the cohort learning about catch-and-release fishing out of the Anacostia River. They also learned about the native and invasive species that inhabit the riverway .
