Italy in US

We're proud of our Italian American community here in the United States.
According to the most recent census, Americans of Italian origin are 17.3 million, making them the 4th largest European ethnic group.
According to The National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America the number is around 20 million.

What a joy to be at Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America NELA Gala and celebrate its work in protecting and promoting Italian Heritage, and this year's Region of Honor Regione Umbria represented by President Stefania Proietti.

This week we continued celebrating Italian American heritage at the reopening of the Columbus Fountain in Washington DC, and at the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America.

Today, on Memorial Day, we join all Americans in honoring the U.S. military and civil personnel who died in the line of duty.

Congratulazioni to Ancona!
This beutiful port city in Italy's Marche riegion has just been named Italian Capital of Culture 2028.
It follows Pordenone (2027), L'Aquila (2026), and Agrigento (2025).

A week focused on the fight against organized crime, space exploration and more.
