“You Belong Here” is the last post in our February series from the ABLE National Resource Center, and it brings the conversation full circle.
When people hear the word investing, they often picture Wall Street, wealth or complicated financial language. But investing is not only for “other people.” It belongs to all of us.
In this final post, Jody Ellis, Director of the ABLE National Resource Center, reflects on how people living on fixed incomes or receiving SSI or SSDI can see themselves as part of the financial conversation. She reminds us that while the financial system has not always been inclusive, progress is happening, and you belong here.
