After careful consideration and in light of recent petition challenge, I regret to announce the suspension of my campaign for the Democratic nomination for the Ward 7 DC Council election. The recent petition challenge has created an unexpected roadblock, limiting our path toward securing a spot on the June 4th, 2024, ballot.

To my family, dedicated supporters, tireless volunteers, and generous donors, I extend my heartfelt gratitude. I am committed to continuing my advocacy for positive change, even beyond this election cycle. Thank you once again for your unwavering support. Together, we will build a stronger, more equitable Ward 7.

Extend much gratitude for our guest speakers from Blacks In Government, Arizona State University Local, So Others May Eat Center for Employment, and other community organizations. Ward 7 residents received an inspirational message and asked thoughtful questions to improve our ward.

So appreciative for campaign volunteers with representation from Blacks In Government, Delaware State University Alumni Association Greater Washington Chapter, and Friendship Collegiate Academy.
